To be fair - it probably was. Just 'cos somebody's a shit or thoughtless driver it doesn't mean that they are automatically oblivious to uncaring about the consequences of their actions.
I know if I, through my own negligence, say, injured an old lady on a pedestrian crossing, I would be ashamed and mortified. Broken bones and old age are not a good combination.[/quote]
