Managed to get some ALIFE shoes in a sale in NYC for £20 a pair. They had some that were leather/suede with a totally flat sole. Would be perfect for clips/straps.
Think Adi did some messenger-style shoes with hard sole for clips and straps. I'll have a trawl.
