had my first puncture of the year yesterday, and my first in ages so not complaining.

That's just the weird thing, I only had about 2 punctures since October before the start of the year.

I spoke to some guy last night (friendly, asked if I needed any help) who suggested it's all the wet weather - glass bits stick to wet tyres and more likely to have a flat.
