• that looks like a good laugh.... are the straights quite long?

  • flickwg
winston That's right, hardly anyone went to watch the last major cycling event in London....the prologue, I think it was called.

wrong winston the last event was the Tour of Britaitn Prologue, which was very empty and lacked the support of the Tour de France's Prologue, It just depends how much hype they give it. Even if you were blind and deaf you would still have found out about the Tour de France coming to London.
there was quite a few people there when i went, but there wasnt as many as there was for tour de france, but the two are a little different in scale seeing as the tour de france is probably the biggest event in cycling and the tour of bitian was held south of the river in a place with no tubes with not that much advertising.

  • The Tour is the biggest sporting event in the world after the Olympics and the World Cup Soccer/Football. It's the biggest annual sporting event. So, yeah, the scale is different :)

Just stop your whinging ya bitches and turn up!

  • yes

  • hael hehe who cares as long as we all get front row seats! mm now if there was a bar there i wouldnt go home! ...mm2 imaging if they allowed an afterhours drunk FGSS race!

At last, a worthwhile opportunity to defend my champion status.

    "Prediction: PAIN."

"I don't hate hippy; I pity the fool."

  • A sprint with real gears on a track? HAHAHA you've lost already boy-o!
Flying 200, Kilo, I'd even give the pursuit a crack. You're going down! :P

  • If the only Sixes I've been to (and those are Gent, Stuttgart and Zurich) are any yardstick to go by then the bike racing is merely there to keep you entertained whilst you get tanked up.
    Bring it on! ;)

the world revolvs around us. kick their ass and take their gass is what i say whooo dogy!

  • In the minds of Americans it does.. little do they know they are just a giant social experiment created by the British a while back for a laugh.
