Making me feel better already, I guess I just looking for approval, sad loser that I am. Thing is we have no room at home, unless I start keeping bikes outside (which may be an option if I can find a little shed to put out the back)

feck! for 1200 dorra I could buy the bike and an AWESOME shed.
vegans/gears I would but I don't anyone to know what it is in case I they try and find the seller. Thankfully its not on ebay.

OK ... I'm thinking of buying a bike with gears, the first one I'll have owned since the Pug early mountain bike I had in the 80's. It's all Campag (Super I believe), showbike from 1980, 531, British builder, hardly ever been ridden. Looks as good as new. I've offered £240. Think I'm getting a good deal? Just thought I'd ask to see what you lovely people have to say on the matter. I imagine I'd keep it indoors except for the long rides that have proper hills.
