Well, everyone's just venting their own spleen at being a victim of crime aren't they? It tends to engender a "grr" vigilante attitude in anyone for a few weeks. I've had good and bad experiences of the police, the most recent one (not the bike thing, but something a little more serious), was dealt with woefully by Brixton cops, and the last experience is always the one you remember the most isn't it?
Hopefully its just a case of him being a keyboard jockey rather than him creeping up behind me on Brixton Road fervently examining my back wheel.
