Welcome to having your bike nicked in Brixton! to be honest, what were you doing leaving it outside? And before you think I'm flippant, that was the exact answer I got from the front desk at Brixton police station when i had reported a bike being nicked from under the cctv outside M&S.
I'm hoping your slight aggression is due to your annoyance that you've just had some of your possessions pinched and its not part of your normal demeanour.
PS. good luck with the stopping people bit. I'd like to be a fly on the wall when that happens.
