I think it's got something to do with Terry Dolan

Cougar were (and may still be) a builder based in Liverpool. Pistanator is right as Terry Dolan definitely worked for them, although for how long I don't know. They also used to build for Chris Boardman when he was an amateur. They were very popular in the late 80s and early 90s. Nice frames.

Well... my Cougar track frame has a Terry Dolan signature decal on the top tube - its a pretty old frame though (80s/90s), and its 653 tubes. Other than that, I know nothing. I spose Dolan could've been the manufacturer, or they just put his name on their frames cos they felt like it...

quite a few london guys have the cougars some with pantographs are the higher end some of the latter days cougars ( so i was told ) are mass produced in taiwan
I just got a Cougar track frame. I got a whole bike and this was the F&F, some very nice parts, but I can't find any info on the maker. Any info would be very appreciated. I've seen what looks like a road bike by the same maker on here, and also seen a low pro one on velospace, but no straight track frames or any info on the maker. By the way its not a 'Corima' Cougar. The only other obvious marks are the Dedacciai decal.
