Might I suggest the Soma Everwear tyre as a candidate?
a) Smaller company, so more likely to be forthcoming
b) The tyres last for ages, even brakeless
c) The reflective strip running all the way round each sidewall is a neat safety feature
d) The strong £ would make the prices even lower
Shipping might not be too cheap, though.
