Did you not read the OP? :)
He said it was on the way to work, in the morning, so it couldn't be the moonlight, or the good times.

Interesting theory, Murt.
Seeing as said he was riding down Commercial Rd (westward), in the morning, the sun would DEFINITELY have been at his back - NOT GUILTY:) -

what's really interesting about that story is that if you hadn't eased off then you would have likely just made it, but 'Claude' would probably still have got tipped, and you might have not even noticed and then this thread wouldn't exist.

or if he had decided to have that extra English muffin before setting off on his ride to work he wouldn't have seen anything.....

Yeah - somebody ought to make a film about the life changing consequences of some chance occurrence.
Oh wait, they already did and it was crap.
But maybe they could try again but this time without john hannah.

Cabbies are wankers (number one point i think)

prototype just after an accident the brain never works properly. too much adrenalin. the guy's an idiot. always take as many details off anyone present as possible. the guy is probably kicking himself wondering why he didn't. I know the feeling because i did something similar when a rickshaw pulled out in front of me two years ago. i thought i was ok and thought my bike was ok so i just rode off, then when i got home, i realised the forks were bent and my head was bleeding.
that has been me so many times, when i get hit im just happy to be alive, and not serriously injured... i have let people go that i never should have. but to be fair, when i did some damage to a cab that was totally my fault (i ran the red light and was going down a one way the wrong way) he let me off, so maybe its some weird kind of carma, or bikema?
