winston hotel I use in Berlin is booked up for that weekend, plenty of others though....you could do a day trip on the Sunday for around 75 quid (flight and velodrome ticket) or leave saturday am and see sat night and sun afternoon sesssion for about 120 (flight, hotel room and two track tickets)....cheaper if you wanna share the room with Hippy....not sure if I'll be going this year though....

Plane and six-day tickets booked. Going to Berlin Saturday morning and back Monday morning, so will see Saturday and Sunday of the six-day. Six-day tickets were actually really expensive, about £25-30 per day.

expensive compared to what?....a premiership football match, boxing, Wimbledon???....money well spent....you'll love it.

I had a phone call from Germany this afternoon saying that each Sunday ticket is valid for 2 people, and so did I really want to buy enough tickets for 6 people? Worth noting if you're booking it yourself. She also couldn't tell me what the Sunday evening event was.
