Cheers for biggin' me up guys. The spoke tensiometer is great. It's a real eye opener. You think it's quite tight but it's actually looser and vice versa. But the good news is that it's not far off what I get by feel. I had a look at my rear wheel that I built about 18 months ago, which I've been riding on for my commuting. It's still true. I was all ready to give it some tensioning and truing, but decided to leave alone. Gave me a huge boost of confidence in my feel.
As for taking on builds, I'm working on 2 wheel sets at the moment and there are 3 more in the pipeline. I'm having a break till the 20th of January then starting up again. So probably not your best option if you need something done soon.
