It'd be much cheaper to just buy a F&F from Cavendish Cycles..

This is true.
Cheaper by the container load.

I was going to get one of these but got a Soma Rush instead. I rang them (IRO) about the shipping and they said the figure on the website was based on sending it UPS or the like, but that they'd actually send it USPS which would cost $60-$80 and they'd refund the difference. Seemed like nice people to deal with, I just got a better deal on the Soma.

Ebay US has IRO frames they will ship to you for £60 I think, I very nearly bought one a while back.

Nicholas speaks the truth, I got an IRO Jamie Roy shipped over from Nomco (before Cavendish started knockin' them out), it worked out about £50 more expensive...

Sorry to bump this but just out of interest, what sort of price are Cavendish doing the Mark V for?
I need a new frame quickly and am shopping this weekend. Wanted to hook one up from the states but they told me to go to Cavendish.
Cheers boys and girls

I was just in cavendish today...they've not got much in stock (couple of blue mark v's and a couple of black, maybe a couple of angus' lurking?) but they're doing an order in the next couple of days. Just pop in or call up, tell em what you want, and it'll be ordered for you.
Bosh! No hassle. (well unless IRO are out of stock, yikes!) -

Heh, damn. I ordered an IRO with deep Vs from Cavendish last week. Very similar parts to this one too.
Oh well! Live and learn.

I've had 2 frames from IRO. If you mail Tony and ask him to send it by USPS rather than courier, it's much cheaper. He's a good egg.

I've moaned about it before but I didn't get a reply to any of my emails, had to nomco mine in the end... I was a bit peeved tbh...

To be fair he probably get's it all the time from people wanting to rinse the exchange rates, people gotta put food on the plates so I'm happy to go to Cavendish, benefit both parties.
I'm excited!
has anyone here bought a frame set from iro and had it shipped over? i was just looking on their site and for a $299 frame set it's $279 shipping, that seems a bit steep to me, i mailed to ask if they could offer anything else but i just wondered if any of you lot had bought anything from them and had any luck?
