funny how before i got my first fix, the bike i dreamed about (and pretty much one i saw on the street that inspired me to get a fix, actually quite similar to the one above) was a blue one with a pair of bullhorns. i tried both nitto RB021's and chop n flop (which is essentially the same as the RB018 as shown on this thread in black and blue) i dont find them that great, considering i've rode my road bikes on the hoods most of the time before i got fixed.
drops are great in winter when the headwind is bitching. i ride brakeless/track drops and still find myself having more choice (albeit different ones) on positions compared to bullhorns, yet i still ride my road bike on the hoods.
my conclusion is you really have to try it out and decide for yourself.
