That was wicked fun :) can't wait for the next one!
Was happy with my 22.58 first run (never been on rollers before so it took some getting used to), but apparently the beers really do enhance performance cos i got down to a 21.42 to lose in my head to head race. But that was one of the best nights out i've had for ages. Thanks to all involved! -
• #483
oh yeah i lost a track bike full njs there last night anyone find it ?
aidan / lpg how did you guys do ? -
• #484
BringMeMyFix My favourite race of the night - all credit to Lee for playing the villain of the piece so well ;p
too right, especially the moment when his confidence of winning was blown to shreds suddenly.
If he only had not turned around and looked at the meter...giggle
You done great. All in the name of LFGSS -

was wicked!

Guys i think you miss-read me, i knew i had lost to Scarlet, just sat up so quickly as i was trying to breath without chucking up!!!
How can 20 seconds of effort hurt so much!?
Hope there is another one so I can do some secret training for it.....
Lee
PS big thanks to the organisers, was a top night even if it did go on a bit past my bed time!

babydinotrackboy Lee
PS big thanks to the organisers, was a top night even if it did go on a bit past my bed time!
Tell me about it. I haven't seen that side of midnight for about a year - except whilst holding a screaming baby ;(
(I've just noticed we're equally old bastards though, who can't do the nightlife anymore!)
-
• #492
ladies standard was high, despite not many riders.....Charlene's time in the semi-final was 25.48 which was fastest ladies time of the night...
-
• #493
just double checked 25.26...
-
• #494
Can I enter the ladies' race next time? They had me down as a woman at the Catford hillclimb. I'm prepared to wear a dress... anytime really.
-
• #495

-
• #497
yeah brilliant video danzel...you really captured the atmosphere of the night. Shame their wasn't more woman there, but I feel I might not have done aswell if that was the case ;)
Winston and Caspar big thanks for organising...what were the times in the other races, I only got my qualifying, cheers. -
• #498
Awesome night, i can't wait for the next one, so i can whoop ma3k in another grudge match.
Thanks everyone, espescially winspar and team. Props to wayne for the whatacunt stickers - getting 8 of them on dogs' back was hilarious.
Sign me up for the bmmf fanclub, he's pretty damn impressive!
Can anyone tell me what the ratio was on the bikes, i'd love to figure out my cadence?
-
• #499
Isn't it 44x16 or something?
Faith (my wife) said she'd like one of those whatacunt stickers, so that she can walk around with it stuck on her cunt :)
My fanclub folded due to legal wranglings, and because I'm a one-hit wonder manufactured circa 1987 by Stock, Aitken, & Waterman, but only recently discovered languishing in a cupboard in recently refurbished ex-A&R offices somewhere round Picadilly.
congratulations you beat me by .12 of a second.
