i think im gonna go with what fc9k said and not bother taking off the cable guides and respraying the frame. it does seem to be alot of time and effort for something which is gonna be my beater and ill probably end up getting a proper nice track frame sometime in the future once ive got the money and urge to get one.
ill def get some straps tho as my feet did slip out of the sides a few times on my last ride. also, anyone know any decent smaller width pedals that dont cost a bomb. the ones on there now are nice but effing wide and ive pinged em on the road a few times round some dodgy corners
