As far as I can recall, this was all light-hearted mockery of a Frenchman's attempt to sell us Arrrrrrrrrooooooooospoks. I couldn't care less if he's French, Chinese, Mongolian, Kazakh, Armenian, whatever. For all anyone knew, he could just be a really poorly educated English guy.
Doesn't matter.
It's given rise to some hilarious images and plays on words, none of which have been in any way racially abusive or derogatory.
I'm sorry if you feel that my comment towards you regarding a chip on your shoulder was personal, MDee, it really wasn't. But, much as you are free to pretty much accuse MA3K of:
...I'm free to accuse you of taking offence on behalf of the Chinese people at something that wasn't directed towards the Chinese in the first place, but rather at poor English in general.
I really have no desire to carry on this argument. Think what you will.
