What sort of time span and quality are we talking. With any luck if I mange to buy a bike I have my eye on which auction finishes on Thursday next week my girlfriends bike will be up for grabs. It is five speed at the moment but has a 42mm chain line already and I would build up a rear wheel for the price of part + 10 squid labor. The wheels are currently 27" so you may want to buy a new front wheel as well. It is only a cheap raleigh but if you want it...
