  • Did anyone ask for the little boy as well?

Maybe that's why mine didnt show up?

  • Yeah my mate who signed up for the cap the day I poste this didn't get one either. It had been on roadcyclinguk.com for a few days before I'd posted it here so maybe they're all gone or maybe they've just got loads of registered users and a backlog to get through.

  • It was worth a crack though. We shall see.

  • Pants. I wanted to see whether I'd have actually worn the thing. It's all well and good speculating about it, but I'd have only found out the truth if the cap was sitting by the door with the others.

  • I ordered one, and have a package waiting at the Royal Mail depot where I won't be able to get to it for ages.

Perhaps it's a cap, who knows?

    Not me.

  • Unless your letterbox is only slightly bigger than your keyhole, it doesn't seem likely that it's a cap. I mean, even the most obtuse of posties would manage to fit a cycling cap through a letterbox. Unless, of course, they've sent eveyone's free cap to your house. Get yourself down to that depot! We want our hats! :-)

  • i finally got one... and i think i subcribed rather late, so all of yours should be turning up. but don't be too excited, it is possibly the ugliest/worst made cycling cap, ever. can't really complain with free though.

  • hassanr . . . don't be too excited, it is possibly the ugliest/worst made cycling cap, ever. . . .

Yes !, can't wait to get my ugly head into that ugly cap.

  • Here goes: what's the point of a cycling cap anyway? Nylon clothes, cycling cap, funny plastic shoes... what a great look. I mean... they're made of really thin cotton, so don't keep you much warmer than just not cutting your hair quite as short; the peak's not long enough to actually keep the rain off my specs... What do they do? Somebody put me right, you know you want to...

    im not sure either?

  • hehe

  • Wearing a cycling cap under a helmet makes a big difference.

  • Just checked the post . . . . I got mine ! I look like a big ugly gay cyclist with a swollen head with the cap on, it's just fantastic !

    • in the package I got a "I support Drug Free Sport' rubber wrist bracelet thingy. I am always uncomfortable when other people give me my opinions to save me having any of my own.

Keeps the sun out of your eyes. I find one vital, particularly at this time of year when the sun is so low in the sky at dusk and dawn...

  • Yep. My flat mates came today aswell. What a huge difference 5 days makes. I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and you lot only just got them after joining a few days after.

  • Bloody hell! I've still not got mine. It's a conspiracy, I tell you...

Cycling caps do keep you warm. And they manage to do it without making you too hot, which is where they score big plus points with me. I used to favour woolly beanies, but that sort of knitted head gear just makes you overheat. Take it off at one set of traffic lights, put it back on at the next...

  • Beanie=no RLJ

  • Not that I wear one, but they also act as a sweat band for keeping your eyes salt/sting free.

I told you shaving off your eyebrows was a bad idea.

  • I hiccup didn't hiccup have much hiccup choice in the hiccup matter.

  • I signed up for mine the day you posted this (nearly a month ago) and haven't got mine yet.

Problem could be that I'm living in Ireland although shouldn't be more than a pound extra postage.

    Anyone?

  • not got mine either :(

  • Don't worry. You'll get you'll get pink through your slot any day now.

  • promises promises..
