That frame is bad, bad news. I wouldn't take it if this guy gave it to me for free.

dogsballs andyp at cavendish cycles has a black 60-62cm Iro frame with a crack in the bottom of the the headset tube for £100 inc forks. perfect for polo or if you're handy with welder.
Thanks for the heads-up - just bought it yesterday. Now - how to build it up? I am thinking risers and white deep Vs... unless I can save up and get myself arrospok.
To be honest I will not build it up until next year as (i) I need to get busy with the welder, and (ii) I am a broke student.

Why do people pay more for stuff on eBay than they would if they just did a liitle searching on the net?
It's got me baffled.
After looking for a new chainring for my (old - granted, but not unobtainable) cranks, I have just seen someone pay nearly a tenner more for the same ring on ebay that I have just purchased from an online shop.I know Google is a relatively unknown resource, but far canal...

Dumb People use "Ebay = Cheap" as their online purchasing mantra.
It doesn't always work, especially when the item is something common. -

I like to use froogle.co.uk before i buy something from shops...

Even regular Google searches with a product name and a target price can come up trumps.
I googled to find a black Specialized Decibel helmet for less that £70 and found Hargroves Cycles had them for £59.99.
Gave them a call and they said "actually we'll do it for £54.99". Then I get a call back 10 mins later saying sorry we messed up the last medium was sold, but would you like a 2D for £65 instead?" -

WTF £67 for a Turbo - someone's got more money than sense
