Yeah, I've recently been on a ride where brakeless newbie ended ride in ambulance (taking out some others too).
I'm not about to get into brakes vs. brakeless debate, but for newbies I certainly do advocate the use of brakes!
To me, "if you're not skilled enough to ride brakeless" made it sound like brakeless was some kind of higher ability level.. and whether it is or not I just don't like even mentioning brakeless riding to new fixers, especially after 50:14's crash. Sorry, personal beef against brakeless newbs I guess..
