Wayne!
I'll say that's the cleanest, most tasty bike I've seen in a long, long time. A winner!
I feel sorry for you, though, you can't upgrade,....or can you?

Lower the saddle or get a different seatpost, but your gonna ruin the bike if you keep on riding like this.

CyclingWMD - AMAZING Mercian...
What kind of bar tape is that? And (strange question I know) what make of helmet is that?
-

Argh! Too much red! I'd say if it didn't have red rims and tires and a red saddle, I'd love it.

agree with jos, how far past the limit is it on the seatpost? it's 653 thin man, better not risk it.

Does 653 have butting of any kind ? (apologies for my ignorance on steel frames)
Once the post is down around an inch past the seat tube / top tube intersection there is nothing to be gained by driving it further in - as the butting means the post is not supported past this point.

geez even got red valvecaps... it does look nice, that stem/handlebar combo is weird tho...
-

Got it.. yes.. double-butted toptube, downtube, single-butted seattube..

What is Mn Mo?
-
• #971
My guess would be Magnesium and Molybendum(spelling?), eg. the other components of the steel alloy
-
• #972
Mn is Manganese
-
• #973
That'd be it! Ta :)
Been a while since I almost failed Chem hehe -
• #974
but.. by that logic then 531 isn't cromoly, its a manganese molybdenum alloy, or manmoly (?!) have i been lied to all these years?!?
