So you're on about a one of the criteria for this team should be no connection to doping past or present and there ore make it exclusive, making top clean riders want to ride for the team and something that work well in terms of consistency in marketing and then hopefully pays off for the sponsors and hence the other sponsors want some so clubs change their criteria .... bla bla you get where I am going.

The problem is for a sponsor judging how much scandal vs success can it take. If there is a little scandal but a lot of success, resulting in lotts of sale / good advertisement the pressure will not be put on team bosses who I expect know most of what goes on.

I think that is signs of / recognized stages of addiction. I don't know about the drugs to talk about physical addiction but I suppose it maybe show the strong hold over many people the dopping holds where they end up "needing" it to perform.
