Right, my GroBag arrived in the post this morning. The packaging was as bulletproof as the bag - wrapped in foam then sewn up in a wacking great white tarpaulin sack (postage label had come unstuck so there was a £9 excess postage, but my postie is cool and let me off).
The bag is absolutely cavernous, built like a Sherman tank, and has so many options and features it'll take me weeks to get the hang of them all. I loaded it up with three years worth of bike mags, two sets of shoes, a bag of spanners and a bunch of hardback books, and once it's on your back you hardly notice it. There's a mind-boggling degree of adjustability on the straps, and you can dial everything in.
I'll post again once I've ridden it for a few weeks and got a better feeling for it, but first impressions are seriously impressed. If you rely on your bag for a living, you won't get better than this. A good deal at £200, at £120 it's a screaming bargain.

Cannot wait to get mine, everyone loves 'em it seems, I am really looking forward to testing mine out. My Dakine rucksack just seems small and fairly unfit for purpose to me now, maybe it's all in my head....

got my laptop sleeve for my bag today, needed a can opener to get it out of the packaging ;o)
first impressions........made to the same spec as the heavy flow (grobag), same materials, same quality, just as tough, (and this sits/fixes inside.....)
neat little idea of the pull-up.
in action..
fitted
overall WELL impressed
thanks again scott

Dead impressed with my ninja too. Damn nice workmanship and it's doing the job perfectly.
I should take some quality photos of it. Might do that this weekend.

at present i only have two spoke cards in my wheel, londonfgss one and a nuts to rapha, got a special one on my mac which needs to be printed, but i always forget to print it then off to my mates for lamination (but may just nick his laminator as he offered it to me),
hope to be at CM tonight and also hope that the weather stays good and i can make it from work
