winston
Here is my bet for those who live/work in London.
Within a year or two Wi-fi coverage will be so complete in London that you will wonder why you ever bought a phone on a contract
maybe....but how often do corporations give something for free that they could actually sell?, you'd need a hell of a lot of bars and cafes (who have free wifi to draw people in to sell them stuff) to have mobile phone like coverage...or get ken to pay for the infrastructure....this, of course, might actually happen.
It is happening right now, the rubbish greasy café I have just had a meeting in even had wi-fi.

jonny the only thing i ask about when getting a new phone is battery life and coverage. i have never listened to music on my phone or used the internet. it's annoying that this shit comes as standard these days. i would rather they used the memory to put in a decent dictionary. i had to type to enter the word 'spinach' into my phone yesterday, hardly one for dictionary corner
Downloaded 'WeDict' dictionary application onto my ipod touch (all for free) a few weeks back - you can then load any dictionary you want into it (Wiki - Concise oxford - Meriam web - etc etc etc) all free !!

I use foobar to get around the sh!tty itunes issue and a 1gig Ipod shuffle. Random fill + Random song selection provides some very entertaining playlists.

SMEEAR i use senuti
Me too, I set the iPod up with disk usage and make sure a copy of Senuti is on the iPod.
agreed, which is why I never "recycled" my 6310...it's my back upo phone, and the one that comes with me when, mountain-biking, fishing, snowboarding etc...and when I want to escape from the internet.
