arvy Roller race itself was exciting. Respect to anyone who got up there.
Both my girl and my mate's girl were alas underwhelmed (just not their cup of tea)

You might have seen my other half reading a book after 2300!

Nice vibe. The MC could have done with shutting up now and again (from the school of i have a mic-therefore-must talk-) and the dj was very funny when he went jungle (clearly just for himself) for one tune.

Cheers Arvy, it is a work in progress. Any **constructive **criticism is welcomed. I am not able to program a decent sense of taste into yours (or my ) girl, a shame really!

The mic level was fine at the begining of the evening. It might well have needed tweeking as the venue filled up, but I wasn't out front, so I couldn't tell you. Bill if anyone says they can't hear let me know and I'll deal with it, in return can I say 'shut up'?
