Brakeless and handlebar-less with a 650c spinergy. You've changed man.
-

All your carbon wheels are belong to us.
If you look at the pics you will notice a "sensible" wheel in place.
Anyone want a VGC 650c Spinergy Rev-X? -
• #4
Me! :)
Err.. Right. Anyone got an incredibly long reach brake? Haha. Swap for the bars? I'll throw the stem in too... Hell i'll even throw in a pink(!) dirt harry brake lever :)
Just realised this actually sounds like i want the damn thing.

not a bad idea swapping the front forks and running 650c on the front actually, it'll sort out the top tube angle and give you near vertical seat tube and super twitchy handling. possibly pedal strike. ho ho what a twat...ster....
-

Twat Star.
With no brakes and a 650c front you could do bar spins, that is if you had a bar.
-
• #7
Stem spins are all the rage now.. wesside!!
-
• #8
it'll stay like that for ages now... ;o)
-
• #9
yeah he was going to come to pick up parts last night but was "working late"
are you keeping the wrap-ups on the front?

Well, I am not in for all the Wrongster bashing.
But I think what attractes the mockery is the off-the-peg attitude of the buyer.
If you then go ahead and change every single bit you are not a target anymore. -

Ahah. Hippy
What are those forks?
I saw some like that (alu + carb) with disk mount on a road bike on W-loo bridge a couple of months ago, and Ive been looking for them online & in shops ever since. reminds me of the old pace RC30.
Yours look similar, if not the same. Info appreciated. :)
Ps. I like the frankenstein look -

maybee these ones?? -
• #17
Cheers : I know those on-one ones - quite like them. I nearly bought some once.
But these forks I saw were on a road /maybe cyclox bike. looked neater, tipped in towards a flat crow, rather than parallel.
This guy had a quite nice bike, but I cant imagine that they were mucho-mucho-£££. -

this would look nice on the front

Actually, 31trum.
I only found this site a couple of months ago cos I periodically search the net for old (90s) Pace frames + forks - as Ive always really liked them (but could never afford them at the time) and thought they would make a superb s/s project/commuter. So, of course I found yours on the 'stolen' thread here - built up just like Id imagined doing myself. Lovely bike that was - you didnt deserve to be parted. Im still keeping an eye out for it.
Anyway, Ive been watching the site for a while, but never posted - until today :) -

well welcome stickboy,
yeah, t'was a bastard getting that nicked. had it for 14 years.
thanks for keepin' them peeled, and good luck if you can find one :) -

dogsballs yeah he was going to come to pick up parts last night but was "working late"
are you keeping the wrap-ups on the front?"working late" is what I tell all the girls..
You'd be amazed at how much more food you get from Wasabi at 8pm compared to lunchtime's minimal portions. Mmm... chicken..What are wrap-ups? Ahh.. Wound-up fork. Gotcha. Yeah.. well I don't have an alternative and they're black so kinda match. It fits in well with commuter blah, especially as Willier dude hasn't had his bike nicked yet. :)

the rebirth of the twatster ;O)

Rear wheel slips like a (insert very un-pc comment about the opposite sex) so needs MORE TORQUE cap'in and tug action.
As the most hated of the off-the-peg fixies.. I just had to have one!
31trum kindly provided his Twatster for a small sum (and even smaller sexual favours).
Seen here in clown-bike mode..
Rollapaluza say..
