Stef so tynan if i were to get an iPhone would you pimp it for me? and get a 30G drive in it? not that i think that is possible but , who knows. I was thinking tho, it took apple about 5 generations of ipods to get one that worked fine, i always avoid getting 1st generation technology.
Anyone knows anything about that Google phone?
I have a fresh bag of stick on eyes in three sizes - pimping is 50p per phone, contact me at:
I often hear people complain about the lack of a 30g hard drive in the new iPhone/iPods - but to be honest (and this is someone who is coming from a 5G 30g iPod) I think being able to carry around 1750 songs / 10 hours of video + the internet / youtube in your pocket is plenty enough for me.
The iPods provenance is as a music player for people to listen to music on, too many folk nowadays want to be music librarians and are not happy if they are not carrying around their whole library.
This iPod is not first generation but 6th generation (same goes for the non-phone parts of the iPhone).
I also had the 1st generation iPod, it was comparatively small (5 gig) - but I was stunned by it and what it allowed me to do - it was light years ahead of my walkman/portable CD player.
Google phone sounds great so far, but this really will be a 1st generation product.
