silasmellor mmm had a look at those specialised ones actually, they look quite nice. Not really sure i want a lever in the mid section as i rarely use it, but clamping it under the end of the bar might be worth a shot. Have you tried clamping them on top of the bar tape, and if so, does it work? most worried about clamp diameter as the phat wrap is well... phat...

I doubt you could clamp it over the bar-phat gel bits, I think you could crush just the tape down with the clamp ok though.
