Just a heads up.
After all the enthusiasm I've put in at work (Magma) about stocking the MashSF DVD + book, we've finally got it coming in!
It's being sent out from SF in 2 weeks so will be out on display soon.
So far there's only 2 companies going to be stocking it in the UK and Mash have taken very kindly to our store.
Don't know the price yet but could stretch up to £20 ish.
We also have Pedal back in stock.
Looking forward to it ;-) -

i had a look at the trailer and i can't say i'm impressed, if you want to see some real bike skills then check out ryan leech and his manifesto dvd, the real kings of urban riding are those with 20in wheels, they make the tricks in the mash film look as lame as my own pathetic attempts with a grifter 4 bricks and a bit of plywood circa 1983.
i'm not a bmx or trials rider but some of that stuff mash stuff is cringeworthy.
just my opinion I don't expect you to agree with it. :-)

Haha, I do agree – if you want to see tricks on bike, then BMX is the way to go
I like the idea of a book and DVD on fixed riding, though, which is why I'm going to get it...

MrSmith ... they make the tricks in the mash film look as lame as my own pathetic attempts with a grifter 4 bricks and a bit of plywood circa 1983.
..the end result being a pile of splinters and broken bricks. IIRC the Grifter looked a bit like a BMX but weighed the same as a block of flats. The difference being that a block flats corners better than a grifter.

the end result being the board flipping up and jamming underneath the cranks/backwheel, throwing me forward off the bike, the bike landed nose first and bent the forks backwards.
the handling was a bit twitchy after that.
luckily it was on grass so i just flew through the air and skidded along on my forearms with no damage done. -
