  • SimonC I live in Hammersmith and love it - lots of places for a good night out, a great commute into the centre of town through Hyde Park, and places like Richmond Park only round the corner. Easy to get out of London from as well - and to good places!

Me too. As a student it's alright - small food shop 2 minutes away, cheap pubs nearby, good transport.

Although next year there's no way I'm going to be able to afford anywhere even near here. I've been told north London is good if you want 5/6 bed house, couple of bathrooms, reasonably sized kitchen/living room for 5/6 students' budget.

As long as it's got a hallway, which means a secure-and-convenient-bike-storage-facility, I'm happy.
