I once went to the dentist because I had a tooth that was decaying, it was right at the back and it had gone all soft and loose, been like that for a year or so, the dentist tried just about everything to get that bastard out, in the end the only thing that did the business was a Park Tools crank extractor.
He shouldn't have bothered, it turned out it was just a peanut that had lodged itself in a gap a few years back at the office Christmas party.
