See the girl in the back right of the picture? Does anyone know who that is? I really want to get a hold of her. She doesn't ride fixie, she works or lives at some sort of co-op/squat, but she's a keen biker and knew the BFF. She went to it last year to. Help!!
Oh and what do I have to do again to put the photo in my comment?

... I nearly crashed a coupleof times on the way home just now because of my FSKING SPDS. I bought the proper cleats (i did have multi-release, you were right hippy!) about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and i'm fsking unclipping again when i pull up for skids!! I've tightened the SPDS to MAXIMUM as in cannot tighten them anymore without bending the allen key, will see if that solves the problem, but... WTF is going on????I had exactly the same problem. Ended up switching to clips&straps, which means I can skid now but they're nowhere near as comfy. I'd switch to ATACs but it would mean either buying another pair of shoes or switching the spds on the race bike too :(

I've been here a little while, but wanted to finish a bit of work on the bike before getting the snaps of it...
A large Charge plug with an extra TT brake lever, smaller tyres and some poncy extra leather trim bits.
Apologies in advanced for crap arrangement of pedals / tyre logo's etc...
The bike...

And the mug....

I don't feel like a knuckle dragger, but I've always liked bikes with a long reach? Dunno why just feels nicer...
More levers you say? I was thinking of adding another TT for the rear...
naah actually I'm waiting until I can go a week without touching the rear lever and then going to take it off. Then maybe whittle t down to just the TT

@ Evilmonkey - your bike has inspired me to write a haiku:
Do not be afraid.
Raise your saddle to the sky!
But ensure flatness.. -

Thanks, I feel honored.
I was just looking at another charge on fgg and it had its saddle WAY up, made me feel quite inadequate.

evilmonkey: if you remove your rear brake make sure you have some sort of foot retention so you can brake properly with your pedals.

S'got mallets at the mo, just not confident enough with the legs to do away with it completely
TBH the only time I really use it is when I'm turning right (is it weird I still signal?)
Thanks though

he's got crank brother mallets, egg beaters with a platform.

Evilmonkey, how are you getting on with that TT lever? I'm starting to get used to pulling in what seems like a very strange direction. It works well under normal circumstances, but I haven't tried to stop in a rush yet. Not sure that I trust it.

Soweto, the worst of it is that thanks to crapness of royal mail I've not ridden it for 3+ weeks. Finally got the bits they lost thursday before last (YAY, thanks will), fitted them that night. Next day had to go to the docs with an ache, he sent me to hospital, they signed me off work for a week, and cycling for 2 weeks +
So in answer to your question, NO idea...

i was doing that alot as well, i think it may be because the cleats at a bit of an angle - i've managed to avoid it by tightening all the way and being very careful to keep my heel in when skidding... learnt it the hard way though...

It's a bit rough that you're at the mercy of the Royal Mail, evilmonkey. Your bike's looking good, though. More levers than any one man needs, but it still looks good. :-) The blue tyres match well. I bet the world will seem rosier with a personalised bike - something you've worked on. You get attached to bikes much faster when you've been tinkering with them.
