I edit titles, and titles alone to ensure a basic level of spelling, and formatting. It's to make the forum more readable and to allow indexers from the likes of Google and Yahoo more accurately derive context information about the content within the forum.

That first one is easy to read, easier to scan. It also means that Google and such can piece together that the BB is an acronym rather than just a typo, and that given it's proximity to the cycling abbreviation of Campy that it may well be a cycling acronym.
Things like that make the whole forum more usable, and help attract new members.
The only way that stuff works is consistency. To apply it everywhere. That means all titles.
I never touch the posts, ever. So you can have e. e. cummings style in there if that is your wont. But the titles, they will always be put into Sentence Case and brand names capitalised, acronyms capitalised, redundant punctuation removed, etc.
If you feel so strongly that you insist on editing back continuously, then I will play the Ex-P.F.C. Wintergreen card and remove your ability to edit anything. Then like the great prolix argument between General Dreedle and General Peckham I will win by default as you'll not have the ability to piss around with the titles.
