I did have a nice ride home last night..
Euston underpass was just eerie!! 7pm, there was a siren going off at nearby building and the underpass that's usually wall to wall with cars and trucks.. EMPTY.
Empty save for myself heading down and a cyclist riding out of the 'pit'. It was just ODD. I thought there'd been a bomb scare or something, hence the total lack of traffic.. but above the underpass it was business as usual.. -

It was pretty empty for me this morning as well - Bow to Smithfield, cold, bright day... Loving it

No, this was the reason my journey was memorable. No red light jumping necessary. Lights were just correct at the right time! Of course I am ALWAYS on good behaviour, however, on my way home last night I did get pulled over by rozzers for being a little over eager whilst crossing @ the strand / blackfriars junction. They were very nice though, told me they just wanted me to be safe....
This morning..... ( I am sorry for all those that are having moody thursdays!) ... I think I had the perfect ride to work. Apart from the weather, I rode from Bethnal Green to Pall Mall without stopping once for lights, traffic, militant cabbies or lunatic peds. I'm not sure how regular this is, as I have only been in the new office for three months, but a great feeling none the less!
Just thought I would share the love......
