pitting on the cone side or the hub side? if hub side then it is new hub time.

on the cone luckily some odd pits that have probably been there as long as i had the wheels but never really checked them too much

i'm not exactly totally sure if this will work but i assume "complete axle assembly" should include the cones, washers and locknuts... as it says you can try and find a shimano spares catalogue (ask at LBS?) and check?

I may be able to help you. I did have a pair of new wheels being built on DA HB-7600 high flange hubs. The bike shop mechs twisted the back hub. F*cking D*ckheads. I'm just going down there now.
I Just had this phone call.
Me: Hello, howz it going?
Bike shop: Hi not not so good we twisted your rear hub taking the cog off.
Me: WTF!!!!?
Bike shop. It's ok you can choose a replacement for trade.
Me: WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who's in charge? I'm comming down now.I'm going to get them to pay me the full cost of the hub. I'll get another in Japan next month.
Back in a bit. I'll let you know.

How the fsck do you twist a hub? Which shop? Name and shame please - we love it!

You twist a hub trying to unscrew a cog when the hub isn't built into a wheel. Typically by clamping the non drive side in a vice and then trying to undo the cog. Hub only supported on one side => twisted hub.
They're muppets - one of the reasons for high flange hubs is so that you can lace spokes in without taking the cog off. They should have been able to build the wheel (or at least half the drive side) before trying to take the cog off, unless it's got a really big cog that blocks the spoke holes.
Remember kids - always undo the cog before snipping the spokes...

250 USD a pair
Does anyone know where i can get the internals for one of these ? My front hub has some pitting on the ball bearing race and is feeling everso slightly rough would like to replace the bearing cones.
Where can I order these individual parts ( not the whole shebang )
Cheers
