TheBrick(Tommy) I think it is partly the old kid toy thing and people who are not interested in bikes want a bike to be disposable.

Maybe it's worth a bike being disposable in london as it doesn't seem like one can hold on to one for very long.

There are a few legit places in brick lane in the market stall section. Old codgers selling ex-police auction bikes. The guys on the left of the main market bit aren't dodgy I believe.
