I been waiting for the right moment to reveal the steel.
Nothing fancy, made up with cheap/pre-owned stuff, but looks ok from a distance! -

An update after some face rearranging Tuesday night
Well I done it last night on the way home from the club run three of us take our usual cut through a pub car park and notice the usual gap in the chained posts is chained up, I'm in front and notice a new gap to the right with the chain on the floor. As I go through the front wheel flicks the chain up just enough to catch my left pedal and then it all goes slow motion as the bike lifts up at the back pivoting around the bottom bracket hooked by the chain, I bail out for a tuck and roll and had my right arm on the floor but the bike had other ideas and the handlebars hook my foot dragging me back to hit face first, grazing my chin, lips and nose and teeth biting a chunk out of my mouth, that I spat out in the car park :-D
It's cleaned up quite well, when I first got home last night with blood smeared all over my face I looked like Ziggy Stardust
Here is the damage, lets face it, it can only make an improvement

Damn! Tis the season to be crashing faa la laa..
Get healed quick FWN! -
• #846
ouch.
My face is actually hurting in sympathy after that description!
... I nearly crashed a coupleof times on the way home just now because of my FSKING SPDS. I bought the proper cleats (i did have multi-release, you were right hippy!) about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and i'm fsking unclipping again when i pull up for skids!! I've tightened the SPDS to MAXIMUM as in cannot tighten them anymore without bending the allen key, will see if that solves the problem, but... WTF is going on????

is it just me or do things take longer to heal as you get older?
when i was a kid i'd get scrapes all the time and they always heal within a week. now its a month!
