I hear what you're saying MrSmith - I'm Bath-based and my last effort to get involved in the scene (the ill-fated Keirinfest) didn't exactly go according to plan...
...hopefuly those people who have dealt with me from the forum (Dogsball, Roberto, Roland, Joneant, etc.) have seen that I'm not doing this for mercenary reasons - I'm just a cycling nut trying to make a living doing what I love.
The last reason I'm doing this is to upset anyone, so no more posting, I'll just get my coat...

specialized cross-top levers are nice, £15 a pair, black only, but i dunked mine in oven cleaner for 15mins, sanded a bit (lot), autosol and now they are super bling. They are also hinged, which makes swapping bar/stem to flats dead easy.
Good work, the only lever that actually looks any good on these bars. They're 67's right? What bar tape/grip is that round the top?

Anyone used one of these?
Nope, but I really like the idea and look of them.
Very useful if you spend most of your time riding on the flats of your bars, whilst juggling your phone between hands :) -

BLB had 'em in black too and priced £26.
