Do you see how I might have thought you meant me:
"tynan the difference between you and scot/roberto/jos is. . ." + "'m not saying you'r guilty of the hard sell but. . ." ?
In case we have crossed wires at some point:
1) I am not selling anything here, nor have I ever, I don't even have anything to sell !
2) Personally I think it is fine if people who have brake levers, bags, stickers or rims to sell that they show their wares here.
