BTW thanks a lot for the cards... i really like the way the print shows thru the brown paper bag that's got my name written on it, haha

I've used brasso on some bars before. You'd never know the logo had ever been there.

great, that's even easier :)

i'm sure ASM or someone stripped the logos off their bianchi. looks sweet. i can't remember how though.

What about printed logos on black plastic? I could do without the Tektro branding on my brake. To be honest, I could do without the plastic on my brake. It's a permanent annoyance.

I just re-sprayed a Tektro brake (just the clamp art, not the lever), very easy to take apart and respray whatever colour you want.

@ Soweto888:
If it's definitely solid black plastic and not just a coating, try T-cut car polish. I've used this to restore UPVC window frames to bright white when washing wouldn't clean them. -

Yeah, I reckon it's solid plastic. I'll have a go at that when I've got a minute. Thanks. Spraying would be too much like hard work, Tynan. :-)

A metal polish like Autosol will do it.

Any recommendations for white logos on black parts?
-

If the black is anodizing, give paint striper a go. It fucks up logos but leaves anodizing untouched.
-
• #15
But obviously don't use paint stripper if the black is paint.

edit they are anodised so paint stripper it is.
those annoying ugly things they print on handlebars and brakes. i'm talking about silver alloy finish, not the matt black coated/painted stuff. how do you get those printed logos off? and keep the smooth silver finish at the same time?
