Did anyone see this? Got up at 6am this morning to bid. Got it for £218. Has a Suntour crankset too. Under £250 inc shipping.
Never heard of De Santi or the tube maker. Camus Tubes Legers - Carbon Manganese. Judging by the lugs I reckon it's steel. Anyone got any info?Looks nice though! ;-)
Think that'll mean the Paganini will be up for sale if anyone's interested.
I'm supposed to be saving space not filling it. -

This is a fucking steal!
Agree but certainly one for the bigguns. Wasn't someone on her wanting a big frame...?

If I hadn't just sorted myself out with a bike last week I'd be all over that like a... something at a somethingorother.

Hi there, just joined after lurking for some time. Still not fixed, but I am on the lookout. I've spotted the above. Am I missing any howlers or would this make a good first fixed?
I have about £150 to get up and running... basically I'm after something simple with a flipflop. Doesn't need bells and whistles... one step at a time.
Thanks

i don't know what the rules are with ending auctions early.
but its good to know that if the bidding goes up that high it is still worth it.
(nobody else is allowed to bid ok!)

• #1443

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/end_early.html
*We strongly discourage sellers to end listings early because it undermines the trust buyers have in the eBay platform. eBay buyers are told that their bids are binding. Equally, buyers expect the auctions they bid on to conclude successfully.
Ending a listing early for the following reasons is prohibited as it is considered fee avoidance:
* Cancelling bids and ending a listing early because the reserve price hasn't been met to avoid reserve fees. See Reserve Price Policy. * Cancelling bids and ending a listing early in order to sell the item off-eBay. You should be aware that as well as avoiding fees, you risk fraud by selling items off the eBay website. If a member writes to you to ask you to sell away from the eBay website, please report them to us.*

You say that now.. but what happens when the tables are turned and you were bidding on something?
Be mildly fkn annoying and wastes bidders time. Why ebay it if you are gonna sell it for a fixed amount anyway? -
• #1450
yeah it must be annoying, but i REALLY, REALLY wanted it so i emailed the seller with my max price offer to end the auction without delay - i didnt fell guilty, just a bit smug that bidder 1 missed out!
with a wall thickness of .4 - .6 of a mm with butted tubes it's a very silly thing to do.
