The tubes are remains from closed down nuclear powerplants in former USSR (I think that's what BikesnobNYC called it).
I live in Norway, in Sande, a subsubsuburb to Oslo, so you're right Momentum, as nordic as can be.
And, yes, there's a Bushnell EBB in there.
