What a bastard. Reminds me of a story my dad told me - but the reverse (i.e. idiot cyclist - lots of them back in essex).
My dad is walking up a short path to the train station, and there's this muppet dodging and weaving around people on his way down. Sees my dad a decides to play chicken with him. My dad (also a keen cyclist), knows it's best to stay on the same path and let the bike go around him. However this dickhead clearly annoyed he doesn't get a rise so decides to clip my dad on his way past. Being ex-army boxer, my dad floors him and pins him to the ground without thinking. Cue onlookers rushing over telling my dad to calm down (apparently they thought he was going to hit him he looked so angry), and it was the cyclists fault. The muppet sheeplishly apologises and rides away with his tail between his legs.
