my bianchi pista was stolen from ucl yesterday (2nd Nov) from 10am - 12.30pm
please let me know if u see it around

i'll keep my eyes peeled. i do wonder about the wisdom of leaving a bike like that locked up anywhere. this isn't meant to rub salt. i will look out for it.

onguard padlock + steel cable given by my friend (he doesnt need it anymore, coz his yamaha r6 got stolen) lol

went to brick lane this morning, no luck

will get myself some proper locks for my next bike

i always park mine as near to SOAS as possible, trying to make it visible to all the students smoking their dirty roll-ups, in the hope that they might suddenly have an apathy bypass and prevent any attempts at theft.

i have lectures in the building right next to the bike rack, and its covered by cctv, though it was a safe place

I presume you mean the covered bike racks behind engineering? I have always been told that was the safest place to lock up...however I now have my doubts. I tend to lock up outside the Bloomsbury or somewhere outside the LCN or UCL union where there is lots of pedestrian traffic.

any luck with tracking down the cctv footage? not that it'll help much, i guess - but why else do they have the cameras there? oh, and yes, i've left my bike there on occasion; guess probably not again.
