would be a sturdy bike, but I expect the rear hub if threaded will only be a freewheel hub not a track hub.

oh and when i first saw this i thought it said "mark hamilton, anyone tried one" and i know someone called mark hamilton so found the whole thing a bit distasteful.

that's a 44" gear (33 x 20) ....polo? off road? hill climb??? no it's a commuter...
Much as there have been many corps jumping on the fixed / track bandwagon, this must be Marin jumping on the off road single speed thing......it's even got the rigid forks and 29s that are were oh so de rigeur at SSWC2007....and disc brake mounts.

Direct drive?
Just wondered if anyone had tried one of these? I don't know what type of rear hub they use but if it is threaded you would just need a proper sized chain ring and sprocket.
any thoughts?
