Yeah its just publicity, unless its written by someone who plays and has an intimate knowledge of it it is never going to be spot on, especially once its edited down and stuff and messed about with.
I think her research was pretty good, stuff about Ross starting it etc. she knew. Its just the limits of the medium and getting the info across.
