but honestly, outside of that i can't think of any that make low-priced track frames
ideally, one day i'll have the money for both a sweet vintage italian track frame, and a modern carbon or alu italian track frame -

cinelli alu track frames are pretty cheap at £400

com12 is the cheapest tubeset deda make do they have a price for sat14 and eom16? you probably couldn't have lugged construction with these tubesets as they are not round profile like the com12

Columbus Life is 480 euro, but you can basically choose any Columbus or Deda tubes and he'll give you a quote.

fully built wilier is £800. it's hardly budget, but similar to some of the prices above.

I was looking at that Wilier in Cycle Surgery last week, the Miche bits look lovely but a road fixie? - has to be steel. :)

Condor have their Pistas made in Italy - guessing there must be a few Italians knocking up less expensive basic steel track frames for the home market. Anyone come across any?
