Saw the hairy guy on the condor again, this time heading east on the strand, while i was heading west.

i saw someone, riding something, in oxford. i didn't have much time, was getting a lift on a friends bike but i yelled 'nice fixie'- like a twat.

i saw a full sus MTB in luminescent yellow being ridden no hands by a teenager in the bus lane of bethnal green road.

i could tell you the fixed wheels i seen, but they've reached ubiquity, so i thought i'd go for something rarer.

HAh i saw a MTB rider in a lycra suit with evans logos all over it, in brixton earlier today. He looked like a ponce!

I was minding my own business, having some quiet drinks with mates at the Fox and then this bunch of fscking couriers rock up and start hanging up cool bikes in front of me and insulting me with their finish line awards..

asm Oh, and i saw someone looking rather angry on a blue + red fixed wheel bike riding in leicester square 15 mins ago. Can't really blame him for being angry, considering the vast number of lary and drunk people trying to find somewhere to watch the rugby. I was also in fact angry :). Apparently I often look angry when I'm riding. Not sure why; mostly I'm just lost in thought: maybe thinking offends me at some level? Or it could've be all those buggering cars...

Oh, and I spotted a pack of courier types on Berwick St, struggling to fasten what looked like a large axe to one of their bags. Think it was Thursday. Ah, Hallowe'en.

stopped by selfridges today for a quick toilet break. wife ran to toilets as i chained our bikes against the railing (next to selfridges foodcrt across m&s). her spesh on first then mine. steel-o-flex couldnt go through both rear wheels so i just went through my seattube, her rear wheel, her frame then the railing. i thought id be running to the toilet and by the time mrs gets back it would only be less than 10mins unattended, so im not too worried. so off i go to find the loo

mrs gets back and saw one of the workers from the foodcourt went outside his counter and took some pix with his phone then went on to txt someone. anyone from here!? some stranger admiring my bike!?

i was fine with it but my wife saw the whole thing and she seems to think it's a little bit dodgy...could be some fcker calling his mates to nick the unchained wheels (her quickrelease and both my wheels)...thought about questioning the dude but i was in a diplomatic mood....i guess i still have faith that, even in london, not all are crooks. what would you have done?
