Update: received this email from teny rim (the company that makes those mag wheels). I have contacted the ebay seller to let him know as well, he was misinformed by the person he got it off apparently.
Conan: oh well, guess it's back to square one hey? Unless you want to go halves on a yellow powder-coated aerospoke wheelset! haha
